This was my second stay here. Maribel, who acted as housekeeper and cook, was wonderful. The accommodations are spacious and well kept, everything works and the owners respond very quickly. We’re coming back in a couple months. This is my new favorite spot in Ixtapa.
Killer shoreline ocean views, comfortable beds, clean and spacious , secure and safe.

This was the second visit to this location/penthouse and when I walked through the front door the second time it took my breath away as if it was the first. With five bedrooms and bathrooms to match we never felt like we were on top of each other. Decorated with a warm contemporary decor And a full equipped kitchen its a vacationers dream. I give this place 10 stars if were available.
We walked into the suite just as the sun was setting- the view was spectacular!

We arrived in Ixtapa on a Sunday evening, our first time to this Mexican city. The property manager was away on vacation, so there was a bit of confusion, but it was all soon resolved. The owners of this beautiful property provide you with enough information, that even without the property manger, we were able to book all of our excursions easily. We hired a cook for 4 of our dinners – she was fantastic! The place is well located on an amazing beach, with fabulous resort pools. One of the most relaxing family vacations we have had- highly recommend this place and Ixtapa in general! Definitely would love to come back❤️

We had another great week at Casa Spadaro. We were slightly concerned about the travel advisory, but Barbara assured us that nothing had changed in Ixtapa and she was right. The scenery was as beautiful as always and we felt safe and pampered at all times. The condo is beautiful. Lilliana cooked two fabulous meals for us and Mario carted us wherever we wanted to go. We were able to golf on two occasions and our caddy was helpful and funny. Go early. It gets hot by noon. The condo is supplied with everything you will need and Barbara responds quickly to any questions you might have. We really appreciate the suggestions for restaurants and things to do left in the condo.

The Amara is strategically located in Ixtapa to take advantage of the best part of Ixtapa beach coupled with proximity to local stores, restaurants and the small commercial hub of Ixtapa. The Spadaro House is a spectacular penthouse suite located at the center of this condominium with a view that is like no other!
5 Rooms and 5 Bathrooms – what is not to like about that when travelling with friends and family! We loved it! We used the kitchen for light food and drink but it could handle much more cooking than we put it through. There are so many good restaurants across the street and even more in Zijuatanejo so it is hard to cook on a trip like this. The upper deck is awesome to sit in the evening and enjoy a drink while taking in the great weather and reflecting on the day.
We stayed 10 days and enjoyed all aspects of this Amara complex from the great pools, beach access, views and proximity to Zijua and other small towns. The staff is GREAT! There is a very wonderful blessing named Maribelle who comes and cleans each day and is a wonderful resource of information. Guards, bartenders and help at the Amara are very gracious and helpful, you will not receive this kind of hospitality everywhere.
One person that we really enjoyed is Erik one of the guards at the Amara who taught us a bunch about sea turtles. We would get up early every morning and run down to the beach to see if there were any coming out of the sand. We saw lots of nests “erupt” with baby turtles! We were amazed at strong population of turtles on this beach! Erik let us help release some of the babies one day that had come out of the nest during the day. He waits till it is almost dark and then releases them down the beach.
Simply glorious! Weather is close to paradise! We will be back!

By far the best place I have ever stayed in Mexico. This includes Cabo, Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan and Acapulco. I have been to all those places and Ixtapa/Zihua blows them away. Casa Spadaro has views that can’t be beat. The place is a clean and comfortable condo that will exceed your expectations. The very attentive staff at Amara Condo’s are the very best. The local food choices are fantastic especially the restaurants in Zihua. Top of the line chefs at many of those places and plenty of local inexpensive, yet delicious choices all within walking distance of the condo. You won’t go wrong booking a trip to stay at this condo.

The Amara penthouse was absolutely wonderful! And yes, we did fall in love with Zihua. The location is beautiful and the views from the upper deck were awesome. Service was great. Claudia set us up right and all the staff were very helpful. The amenities were outstanding. The penthouse was stocked well with everything you need. We were at the pool multiple days and used the gym as well. Thanks much for a great place to stay.

Once you walk through the front door of the penthouse home , the views and ocean air awaits you and completely takes over ! Instant relaxation ! Not only are the bedrooms and beds comfortable and the kitchen is large amd modern and amazing and has everything you need to make your stay good if you choose to cook some great meals. But then you go upstairs and you have an outdoor experience like no other !!! The outdoor couches and lounge chairs with a jacuzzi and barbecue area with a large table is amazing !!! Then you go down to the beautiful infinity adult pool overspilling onto the view of the ocean and white sand beach ! There is a separate pool for kids which is even bigger ! The cocktail service under the palapa and the staff are incredible ! If you choose to sit and lay out at the beach , there is beach front access with lounge chairs ! All of the activities are right there also , wave runners , parasailing and a long stretch of beach to walk! There are also massages on the beach a short walk away ! The owners are amazing and will answer any questions you have to make your stay perfect ! They provide you a list of restaurants and activities that they have been to and like the best ! There is a shopping center right across the street walking distance with everything you need from markets , to restaurants and shops I can’t wait to go back with my family to this truly amazing house I call Paradise !!

You will not find a nicer place to stay in Ixtapa. This Penthouse is in the perfect location, with great amenities, all the comforts of home, and a perfect relaxing layout. You will not be disappointed!

We stayed at this Amara beach front penthouse at the end on January/early February. This family vacation was one of the best we have ever taken. The penthouse was impecable. It was very clean, spacious and had everything we could ever need. We can tell the owners take great pride in their place and we are so thankful for their hospitality. The penthouse its self is remarkable. The furnishing are in great condition and the beds are very comfortable. We very much appreciated the daily maid service. She was wonderful to us. We felt very spoiled. The grounds of Amara are amazing. The pools, beach front, bar, etc. are wonderful. The pictures just dont do it justice! The location is perfect and has everything you would need within walking distance. We would eat in for breakfast and lunch everyday and have dinner out on the town. The kitchen in the penthouse had everything we needed for cooking, all we had to do was make a quick trip to the grocery store! We had 2 kids ages 6 and 11 and adults and grandparents on this vacation and I can honestly say this was the perfect place to stay. We will come back to Ixtapa again next year and will hope to stay at this Amara penthouse again. Ixtapa is the perfect place for vacationing. We were so pleased with our stay. Do not delay, book this place! You will not be disappointed!!!!!

WOW is the word I used to describe this condo. It is a beautiful condo, nicely furnished and equipped, and located on a great beach. The owners are very nice, helpful, and easy to work with. The services at the condo (admin, security, maid, pool, pool bar, etc.) are top quality yet unintrusive. Highly recommended!

Your home is absolutely fantastic with all the conveniences of being in our own home. This is best place in Ixtapa. The view, the furnishings the location are all outstanding. I am already planning my next visit. This time I will stay longer. Leaving a cold snowing place and arriving here was like heaven. Ixtapa and this penthouse make it perfect 10 vacation.

Stayed here jan.3 12th, 2008. We can highly recommend this luxury home. It is like having your own home in Ixtapa, and what a home. Privacy or socializing at the pools and bar. right on the beach for easy walks. security but easy access to the heart of Ixtapa. Clean, great maid service, your own penthouse, what more could you want.nicest on the beach at Ixtapa.great owners. complete trust on the business side of the deal. we will be back. ask for more pics.the ones are good but do not completely display the overall luxury.enjoy
